About Ekodyne
Ekodyne is an early stage clean energy product company based in Pennsylvania.
The company has developed and patented an innovative vertical-axis wind turbine design that solves the myriad efficiency, maintenance, footprint and cost problems of traditional wind turbines.
Wind tunnel testing and design analysis indicate that the Ekodyne turbine could unlock the potential for hyper-local distributed electricity generation that will become an essential component of the evolving smart grid.
Ekodyne is in testing and evaluation phases of product development, with plans for engagement with the National Wind Technology Center at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) in Golden, Colorado.
In parallel, Ekodyne is preparing productization and commercialization of the turbine, including planning manufacturing facilities in the state of Pennsylvania.
